SynopsisUrutoraman Reo、 Ultraman LeoPlanet L77 in the Leo constellation is destroyed by Alien Magma、 a destructor of many stars. Leo、 one of the survivors of Planet L77、 which was annihilated by Alien Magma、 lives on Earth as a human being named Gen Otori. However、 Alien Magma launches an invasion of Earth、 now Leo’s second home planet. At the time、 Ultraseven、 aka Dan Moroboshi、 is carrying out a mission to save Earth as captain of the Monster Attacking Crew (MAC)––in his human form––following a request from Ultraman Taro. Alien Magma invades Earth accompanied by two monsters that are twins. Dan transforms into Ultraseven and confronts the two powerful monsters but gets injured. Ultraseven is reduced to the last extremity、 but an unknown Ultraman、 Ultraman Leo、 comes to the rescue and repels the monsters. Gen joins the MAC on Dan’s recommendation. He then confronts Alien Magma but gets into a dire situation. Realizing his own inexperience、 Gen becomes an apprentice of Dan、 under whose instruction he undergoes much training. Finally、 Gen manages to expel Alien Magma. Gen、 now Earth’s new Ultraman、 keeps fighting to protect the planet from monster and alien threats.Ultraman Leo was produced by Tsuburaya Productions as the 7th tokusatsu superhero show of the Ultra series. It aired on TBS from April 1974 to March 1975. After the series concluded、 Leo appears in the movie Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy as the teacher of Ultraman Zero、 the son of Leo’s own teacher Ultraseven、 training Zero to become a better fighter.
