SynopsisDenji Sentai Megarenja、 Denji Sentai Megaranger Kenta Date、 a senior at Moroboshi High School and the ultimate champion of an arcade video game called Megaranger、 gets recruited by members of the International Network of Excel-Science and Technology、 also known as I.N.E.T.、 as a key figure in a certain project. The easygoing Kenta goes along with them because they offer to treat him to a meal of barbeque. Meanwhile、 Koichirou Endo、 Shun Namiki、 Chisato Jogasaki and Miku Imamura、 members of the Digital Research Club、 also known as “Digiken、” at Moroboshi High School、 are on a tour of I.N.E.T.、 where they are joined by Kenta、 a fellow member of Digiken、 who is being treated to barbeque. Suddenly、 the Evil Electric Kingdom Nezirejia attacks Earth and great confusion ensues. Amidst this confusion、 Professor Eikichi Kubota of I.N.E.T. begins to reveal the true reason why he invited Kenta to this place. Megaranger was actually a test machine for selecting qualified warriors with electromagnetic abilities、 created to counter the threat of Nezirejia. Kenta、 who is selected as a qualified candidate、 and other Digiken members who were on the tour are entrusted with a bracelet-type device called the Digitizer. With this device、 Kenta transforms into Mega Red、 Koichiro into Mega Black、 Shun into Mega Blue、 Chisato into Mega Yellow、 and Miku into Mega Pink as they fight against Nezirejia to protect those they hold dear.Denji Sentai Megaranger is the 21st tokusatsu superhero show in the Super Sentai series produced by Toei and broadcast from February 1997 to February 1998.
