Synopsis | Yoshinaga-sanchi no Gaagoiru、 Gargoyle of Yoshinaga House The Yoshinaga family is a group of unique individuals living in the town of Goshikicho. One day、 Futaba、 the eldest daughter、 wins a stone statue of a talking dog in a lottery at the shopping arcade. Its identity is that of a living gargoyle made of stone、 which was originally created as a gatekeeper by three highly skilled alchemists. The stone statue is nicknamed Gargoyle and takes up a position on top of the Yoshinaga family's gatepost without being asked and begins to guard the gate.At first、 Gargoyle often causes problems such as attacking the newspaper delivery man and always ending up getting knocked down off of the gate by Futaba with a dropkick. But、 as he spends his days in the Yoshinaga household、 he is gradually accepted by more and more people.Gargoyle and the Yoshinaga family are surrounded by characters who constantly cause a scene such as Iyo Takahara、 a genius alchemist who runs a mysterious antique store、 Hamilton、 who is trying to steal the Philosopher's Stone used by Gargoyle、 Hisham、 a man who is trying to defeat Gargoyle with an intelligent enhanced plant he created、 and Hyakushiki、 a thief who is causing a stir in the world. Gargoyle helps resolve such disturbances in order to protect the Yoshinaga family he loves and the people of the city.Gargoyle of Yoshinaga House is originally a Japanese novel series by Sennendou Taguchi、 of which a total of 15 volumes have been published by Famitsu Bunko. It has been adapted into a manga by Enterbrain、 with extra stories and drawings by Kagari Tamaoka. The anime adaptation of the novel was produced by Studio Hibari、 and a total of 13 episodes have been aired since 2006. |
