Synopsis | Urutoraman Esu、 Ultraman AceThe Yapool、 alien invaders from another dimension、 launch an invasion of Earth with their “Terrible Monsters、” bio weapons that are more powerful than the monsters that have previously appeared on Earth. Ultraman Ace、 one of the Ultra Brothers、 comes to Earth from the Land of Light in Nebula M78 to protect Earth from this new threat. There、 he comes across a man and woman who are trying as hard as they can to protect some children in a town under siege by a Terrible-Monster. The two are Seiji Hokuto、 a young man who runs a bakery in town、 and Yuko Minami、 who works as a nurse at a local hospital. Even after the Terrestrial Defense Force sustains catastrophic losses、 the two do not give up. They fight bravely but eventually get themselves killed. Inspired by their courageous efforts、 Ace decides to give some of his great power to each of Seiji and Yuko、 which brought them back to life. Seiji and Yuko join the Terrible-monster Attacking Crew (TAC) that was established in place of the Terrestrial Defense Force. They combine the two “Ultra Rings” given to them by Ace while saying the words “Ultra Touch” to transform into Ultraman Ace、 dedicating themselves to protecting the planet and those they love from the Terrible-Monsters sent by the Yapool.Ultraman Ace was the first series in which a man and woman performed a combined transformation. Keiji Takahashi played Seiji Hokuto、 and Mitsuko Hoshi played Yuko Minami. Later on in the series、 Seiji Hokuto began to transform alone instead of with Yuko. Ultraman Ace was produced by Tsuburaya Productions as the fourth tokusatsu superhero show of the Ultra series. It aired on TBS from April 1974 to March 1975. |
