SynopsisBatoru Fiba Jei、 Battle Fever J Strange phenomena have been occurring in various parts of the world、 and senior officials of the Ministry of National Defense are being murdered one after another、 which turns out to be caused by an assassination group Egos、 a secret society that worships the evil deity Satan Egos. General Tetsuzan Kurama、 the highest-ranking official in the National Defense Ministry、 learns of this and gathers five young men from the Ministry of Defense and the FBI to form the Battle Fever team to fight against Egos. The five members、 led by Masao Den、 the red warrior Battle Japan、 along with Kensaku Shiraishi、 the orange warrior Battle Cossack、 Kyosuke Shida、 the blue warrior Battle France、 Shiro Akebono、 the black warrior Battle Kenya、 and Diane Martin、 the white warrior Miss America、 wear special suits and use battle styles based on dances from around the world to defeat the Egos monsters one after the other. Meanwhile、 Egos builds a giant mecha、 and to counter it、 the Battle Fever team completes the Battle Fever Robo and fights an unprecedented battle、 which ends in the victory of the Battle Fever team. As the battles rage on、 they lose some of their friends but continue fighting while welcoming two new members、 Maria Nagisa、 who is chosen as the new Miss America、 and Makoto Jin、 who is chosen as the new Battle Cossack.Battle Fever J is the third tokusatu superhero show in the Super Sentai series、 produced by Toei and broadcast from February 1979 to January 1980 on the TV Asahi network. Perhaps because the filmmakers wanted to deepen their partnership with Marvel Comics following the Japanese version of Spider-Man、 which was produced the year before this series、 the style of this show is slightly different from the purely Japanese version of battle heroes.
