| Synopsis | Toeiban Supaidaman、 Toei Spider-ManPrince Garia of Planet Spider has followed Professor Monster、 the man who destroyed his planet、 to Earth. One day、 the young motocross racer Takuya Yamashiro、 whose father and space archaeologist Dr. Yamashiro was also killed by Professor Monster、 is led by a mysterious voice to Prince Garia、 who has used up all his power fighting. From Garia、 Takuya receives Spider Extract that gives him special spider-like powers、 and he transforms into the superhero Spider-Man who wears a special suit called the Spider Protector. Together with the giant robot Leopardon、 which is the transformed form of the battle spaceship Marveller given to him by Garia、 Takuya confronts Professor Monster and his Iron Cross Army that are alien invaders.Toei Spider-Man is a tokusatsu hero series created by Toei. It aired on Tokyo Channel 12 (present TV Tokyo) from May 1978 to March 1979.It is based on the superhero series Spider-Man that has been serialized in American comic books published by Marvel Comics、 which have also featured the Avengers series and X-MEN series. Toei Spider-Man was received well by Stan Lee、 the creator of Marvel’s Spider-Man.
