SynopsisBlitz!! Strada 5 The story begins when Big Nova、 a criminal organization led by a mysterious phantom known as Mr. Asmodi、 suddenly appears and spreads its evil tentacles to Japan.In response to this threat、 the international secret police launch a special team called Strada 5.Each of the five members is given a codename. Kansuke Horita、 an expert marksman、 is named Strada 1 (Pegasus). Genjiro Tonomura、 a master of disguise who serves as the second in command、 is named Strada 2 (Orion). Ichinen Takenaka、 a man with both superhuman strength and a brilliant mind、 is named Strada 3 (Apollo). Masa Takaragi、 who is in charge of the team’s equipment and technical needs、 is named Strada 4 (Luna). Kaori Hoshi、 who was born with telepathic and precognitive abilities、 is named Strada 5 (Andromeda ). Under the orders of Terujiro Takamura (played by Joe Shishido)、 aka Jupiter、 the members get into their personalized special rider machines “Head Strong” and throw themselves into the intense struggle with Big Nova.Blitz!! Strada 5 is a tokusatsu action TV series produced by the Nikkatsu film studio. It aired on NET (current TV Asahi) from April to June 1974.After Blitz!! Strada 5、 Toru Okazaki、 the former actor who played the series’ leading character、 Kansuke Horita、 made the headlines with his starring as Daisuke Yamamoto、 aka Amazon、 in Kamen Rider Amazon、 the fourth entry of the Kamen Rider Series in the Showa era、 which was produced by Toei and premiered in October 1974.
