SynopsisnazumanOne night、 a college student named Goro Watari comes across a woman and boy who are being attacked by a monster. He tries to save the two from their assailant but is blown away into the sea due to the impact. He wakes up shortly after to find himself in a mysterious place––he sees the woman and boy he tried to save as well as several other boys and girls there. They tell Goro that they are a group of mutants with supernatural powers called the Youth League、 and that they and their leader Captain Salar are in a struggle against the Neo-Human Empire Phantom Army and its leader Banba that want to rule the world. Furthermore、 Salar tells Goro that he has supernatural powers like the others in the Youth League、 namely the power to transform himself from Sanagiman、 a superhuman being with herculean strength、 into Inazuman、 a superhuman being with paranormal superpowers. Once Goro learns about his powers and the mission that comes with them、 he joins the fight against the mutant robots of the Phantom Army to destroy Emperor Banba’s ambitions.Inazuman is a tokusatsu superhero show produced by Toei based on a manga by Shotaro Ishinomori、 who is known for works such as Kamen Rider and Cyborg 009. It aired on the TV Asahi Network from October 1973 to March 1974. Sanagiman and Inazuman later appeared with a new look in a Kamen Rider Fourze movie released in 2013 as disciples––two high school students who are suffering from their own supernatural powers––of the protagonist Gentaro Kisaragi.
