SynopsisSeito Shokun (Attention Students!)This is a youth school drama following Naoko Kitashiro、 a student who transferred to Class 2-A of Seibi Dai-yon Junior High School、 commonly known as Nackey. She uses her sensitivity and cheerful personality to resolve various incidents within the school together with her classmates. Throughout the drama、 the students grow and deepen their friendships through many experiences unique to their age、 such as differences in family environments、 love affairs、 and setbacks. The original work is Yoko Shoji's manga of the same title、 Seito Shokun!、 which was serialized for a long period in Kodansha's Weekly Shojo Friend from 1977 to 1985 and won the Kodansha Manga Award in the Girls’ Category in 1978. The television drama、 produced by TV Asahi and Toei、 remained faithful to the original work by setting the characters as junior high school students、 and Mie Ueda was selected from 19、000 applicants for the role of Nackey. The series aired from September 1980 to March 1981、 depicting the period until Nackey and her friends graduate. The producer from Toei at the time was Takeyuki Suzuki、 who would later lead the Super Sentai Series (Super Squadron Series) and the Kamen Rider Series. The scripts were mainly written by Masaki Tsuji、 a leading figure in the animation industry.Following the TV drama broadcast、 a film version was released starring Kyoko Koizumi in her younger days. In the film version、 the characters were portrayed as high school students、 not junior high students. In 1986、 an anime version was produced for the Nissei Family Special slot and aired on Fuji TV、 featuring Tomoyo Harada as the voice of the protagonist Nackey. Seito Shokun! Kyoshi-hen (Attention Students!: Teacher Edition)、 which is also included in the original manga、 was produced as a one-off drama also on the Fuji TV network in 1987. In 2007、 another drama of Seito Shokun! was produced、 featuring Nackey as an adult who became a teacher.
