SynopsisSilver Kamen Dr. Kasuga is engrossed in his research to develop a photon rocket、 working day and night to realize his dream of space travel.However、 before completing the rocket、 the doctor is murdered by the Tigris、 an alien species that wants to prevent Earthlings from exploring space. Before his death、 he left clues to the rocket to his five children、 and gave them special anti-alien equipment in anticipation of a Tigris attack. Among the Kasuga siblings、 Koji was given a special ability called “Silver Power” through a special operation by Dr. Kasuga. This ability enables him to transform into the superhero Silver Kamen.Continuing their father’s mission、 the five siblings go out to look for the clues to completing the rocket、 while fighting the Tigris and various other aliens. The Kasuga siblings finally complete the rocket、 but the rocket is destroyed by the Southern、 a new enemy alien species. Then、 Koji acquires a new special ability after being exposed to the rocket’s photon energy. Transforming into Silver Kamen Giant、 Koji defeats the Southern. The Kasuga siblings later gain the cooperation of Dr. Kasuga’s pupil、 Dr. Tsuyama、 and confront various invading aliens while developing a new rocket. Silver Kamen is a tokusatsu superhero series that was written by Mamoru Sasaki、 Shinichi Ichikawa、 and others、 and directed by various directors including Akio Jissoji. Produced by Senkosha and Nihon Gendai Kikaku、 it aired on the TBS network from November 1971 to May 1972. A film remake titled Silver Kamen was released in 2006.
