SynopsisI’m Taking off Work TodayHanae Aoishi is a plain office clerk working steadily in the food division of a trading company and approaching her 30th birthday with no experience with men. She is a so-called Kojirase Joshi (a very complicated woman) who fantasizes that her destined partner will come to take her with him someday. On her 30th birthday、 she goes out for drinks with Yuto Tanokura、 a 21-year-old university student working part-time at her company. Under the influence of alcohol、 the two end up spending the night together. Hanae is so shocked that she takes off work the next day、 but she eventually finds the courage to start a formal relationship with him. As she has no experience with men、 she desperately tries not to be a clingy woman. However、 she swings between elation and desperation by Yuto’s words and behavior、 often debasing herself. Nevertheless、 driven by her desire to be with Yuto、 she continues to rally herself and try her best as his girlfriend. This is a serialized TV drama aired during Nippon TV’s Wednesday Drama time slot from October 15 to December 17、 2014.
