SynopsisUchuu Keiji Shariban、 Space Sheriff Sharivan Japanese forest ranger Den Iga encounters a monster from the space crime organization Makuu、 which once shook the universe、 and suffers a serious injury.Retsu Ichijoji、 aka the legendary space sheriff Gavan、 rushes to the scene、 defeats the monster and rescues Den. Den is soon treated on Planet Bird、 where medical technology is well developed、 and recovers. He is then recruited as a new space sheriff by Commander Qom、 the commander of the Galactic Union Police 、 who sees Den’s courage in taking on Makuu’s monster and gives him the code name Sharivan. Den joins Gavan in the final battle against Makuu、 and as a new space sheriff、 is assigned to protect Earth on Gavan’s behalf. However、 suddenly a new space crime organization、 Madou、 is confirmed to have appeared on Earth、 and he and Lily、 who is tasked with supporting Den、 return to Earth. Den sends the command Sekisha to the super-dimensional battle mothership Grand Birth to sends out energy、 which Den’s under suit absorbs and transforms him into Sharivan、 and sets out to fight the Makai Beasts.Space Sheriff Sharivan is the second tokusatsu superhero show in the Space Sheriff series、 one of the Metal Hero series produced by Toei and aired from March 1983 to February 1984 on the TV Asahi network. After the end of this series、 the new Sharivan was also depicted in the 2014 V-cinema film NEXT GENERATION、 which depicted a new generation of space sheriffs.
