| Synopsis | Kyouryu Sentai Jurenja、 Dinosaur Squadron ZyurangerEarth was once inhabited by an ancient human race known as the Fairy Race、 which had evolved alongside the dinosaurs. They fought a fierce battle with Bandora the Witch、 ultimately managing to lock her up on Planet Nemesis.One hundred and seventy million years have passed、 and the dinosaurs have disappeared due to the onset of an ice age. The year is 1992、 and those of the Fairy Race live as members of modern human society.Suddenly、 however、 Bandora、 who has been released from Planet Nemesis、 brings with her an army to invade Earth.The Mysterious Sage Barza、 who has anticipated Bandora’s return、 wakes the legendary warriors of the five major tribes、 Geki/Tyranno Ranger、 Goushi/Mammoth Ranger、 Dan/Tricera Ranger、 Boi/Tiger Ranger、 and Mei/Ptera Ranger、 from their long slumber. Each of them control their own Guardian Beast and collectively form the team Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. To protect Earth、 the five Zyurangers look for the last dinosaur egg left on the planet and、 together、 lead the struggle against Bandora.Dinosaur Squadron Zyuranger is a tokusatsu hero series created by Toei that aired on the TV Asahi network from 1992 to 1993. The series was developed with a strong emphasis on fantasy、 incorporating elements such as dinosaurs and RPG that garnered attention at the time. Later、 it was broadcast in the US for the first time under the overseas Power Rangers franchise and gained huge popularity. Film adaptations and remakes continue to be developed abroad even today. |
