SynopsisTensai Bakabon 2 (Genius Bakabon 2)A man had brilliance and extraordinary talent enough to be called an infant prodigy at birth. This is the second live-action special drama of Tensai Bakabon (Genius Bakabon), which aired on January 6, 2017, as a special project for Nippon TV’s movie program Friday Road Show. The original story is based on the manga by Fujio Akatsuka, a master of gag manga renowned for big hits such as Osomatsu-kun (Young Osomatsu) and Himitsu no Akko-chan (The Secret of Akko-chan). This drama also garnered public attention for its casting: Shinya Ueda, member of the comedy duo Cream Stew, made his first starring role as Bakabon’s Papa in a drama, and the theme song was performed by Tamori, a multi-talented popular personality who is active as a TV host and others.
