SynopsisJikuu Senshi Supiruban、 Time-Space Warrior Spielban Spielban and Diana live peacefully as children on their home planet of Clin、 but it is suddenly attacked and destroyed by the Waller Empire. After a wandering journey in a spaceship、 they arrive on Earth、 a blue planet with an environment similar to that of Clin. Spielban and Diana then grow up with basic knowledge of the Earth during their 12-year sleep. Meanwhile、 an invasion by the Waller Empire begins on Earth in an attempt to steal fresh water. The two transform into Time-Space Warrior Spielban and Diana Lady to fight against the armies of the Waller Empire. However、 they are confronted by Spielban’s father Dr. Ben and sister Helen、 who are under the control of the Waller Empire and stand in their way. The two are devastated by the harsh reality after witnessing this、 but they support each other and overcome their despair to rescue Dr. Ben and Helen and fight to fulfill their mission to protect Earth in order to crush the ambitions of Guardian Spirit Waller、 the godly ruler of the enemy、 the Waller Empire.Time-Space Warrior Spielban is the fifth tokusatsu superhero show in the Metal Hero series produced by Toei and was broadcast from April 1986 to March 1987 on the TV Asahi network. The series attracted a lot of attention when actor Hiroshi Watari—who played the main character Den Iga in the second installment in the Metal Hero series、 Space Sheriff Sharivan—played the role of Spielban、 and singer Ichirou Mizuki、 who sang the theme and soundtrack songs for this series、 played protagonist’s father、 Dr. Ben. The actor/singer passed away in 2022.
