| Synopsis | Shin Koihime Muso: Otome Tairan Set at the era of the Eastern Han Dynasty、 which is split into rival army factions、 Ryuubi、 Kan'u、 and Chouhi、 three girls with great ambitions to bring peace and tranquility to a turbulent world、 form a sisterhood and promise to fight together. They meet other fellow sisters during the journey、 and together they fight in a battle against the Yellow Turban Rebels. Then、 in front of them、 Kashin、 a general of the Han Dynasty appears. He has been framed as part of a conspiracy and drugged with a potion that gradually changes his appearance into that of a cat.In order to save her、 Ryuubi and her sworn sisters travel to the Nanban Kingdom in search of belly button lint from a Nanban elephant、 which is needed for the antidote. From Jiangdong、 Ryuubi and her sworn sisters travel to the Nanban Kingdom by ship and meet its leader、 Moukaku、 who is in a fight with her pet elephant、 PayaPaya. Ryuubi and her party intercede in the quarrel and successfully obtain the elephant’s belly button lint.After returning safely from their trip、 Ryuubi and her party gave Kashin the antidote、 but there、 they receive a message to join the allied forces to defeat the renegade Toutaku. The allied forces consisted of legendary heroes such as Sousou and Sonken、 but midway through the march、 it is discovered that the mastermind of this battle is not Toutaku、 but the sorcerer Ukitsu、 who has taken over the Terrorcotta Army、 the legacy of the First Emperor. Utsuki is defeated thanks to Ryubi、 who is the only one to have the effective power against Utsuki、 and peace is restored once again.This is a sequel to the anime Koihime Musou、 which is based on the bishojo (cute girl) game Koihime Musou: Doki、 Otome Darake no Sangokushi Engi released in 2008. Some of the storylines were modified、 such as the fact that Ryuubi、 who was not in the previous game、 appears from the beginning. It was produced by Doga Kobo、 and a total of 12 episodes were aired from 2009. |
