SynopsisKoihime Musou Set at the tail end of the Eastern Han Dynasty、 Kan'u and other girls who are referred to as heroes fight fierce battles to bring peace and tranquility to a turbulent world.Along the way of her quest to become a strong warrior、 Kan'u meets Chouhi、 with whom she makes a sisterly bond、 and Choun、 with whom she recognized each other's strength after a battle. Together、 Kan'u meets many heroes and overcomes various incidents、 including Soso、 a fierce general who has made a name for herself throughout the continent、 and Sonsaku、 who has conquered the land of Jiangdong. Kan'u、 who has a straightforward and inflexible personality、 sometimes quarrels with Chohi、 who at times can be a bit half-hearted、 and Choun、 who can appear to be irresponsible、 but they deepen their bond with each other during their journey.One day、 the girls meet a man named Ryubi、 who leads a volunteer army that was fighting against bandits. Kan'u and the girls side with Ryubi、 who says she will fight to save as many people as possible、 and together、 they are ordered by the Imperial Court to join the army to put down the rebellion. However、 on the way、 they witnesses Ryubi's ugly nature and learns that her name was also a lie. This made them decide to part company with Ryubi and choose to follow their own path once again.Koihime Musou is an anime television series based on the bishoujo (cute girl) game Koihime Musou: Doki Otome Darake no Sangokushi Engi released by BaseSon、 which is based on the classic Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. However、 the storyline is different from the original、 such as the protagonist does not appear in it. The animation was produced by Doga Kobo、 and a total of 12 episodes were aired on regional and major TV stations in the late-night slot from 2008.
