SynopsisTomu Soya no Boken、 The Adventures of Tom Sawyer Tom Sawyer、 a naughty and mischievous boy、 is living with his aunt Polly after losing his parents when he was very young. In the village of St. Petersburg along the Mississippi River in the United States、 he leads a happy life with his best friend Huck and his little brother Sid.Tom’s behavior often creates an uproar—blowing off work Polly tells him to do and instead making a house for Huck、 who has no place to live in; sneaking into the coveted steamboat River Queen ; and、 after disappearing、 showing up at his own funeral held by villagers who thought the boys have died. One day、 they witness a murder by Injun Joe、 a rogue in the village. Tom and his friends、 out of fear、 decide not to tell anyone about the murder and keep the fact secret. But later、 Tom tells the truth to save Muff、 who has been framed by Injun for the murder. However、 after his crime was revealed by Tom's testimony、 Injun escapes before apprehended、 forcing Tom to live in constant fear of Injun's revenge.One day、 while exploring a cave、 Tom comes across Injun、 which horrifies him. But just then a local sheriff arrived at the scene、 and Injun runs away. He misses his step and falls down to a deep valley in the cave. Some days later、 Tom revisits the cave and discovers huge treasures hidden by Injun. He becomes very rich、 but continues to enjoy every day while causing trouble to everyone in the village as before.
