SynopsisEntaku no Kishi Monogatari Moero Asa、 King Arthur and the Knights of the Round TableThe boy knight Arthur gets his parents killed by the Black Knights led by the evil king Lavik、 as well as losing Camelot Castle where he was raised.He is saved by Merlin the wizard and raised under the protection of the virtuous knight Sir Ector in Greenwood Forest.A few years later、 Arthur、 now a young man、 attends a festival to celebrate the restoration of the divine sword known as Excalibur、 which is kept in a great temple. During the event、 Arthur successfully pulls the sword out from its platform、 proving that he is the rightful king of Britain. He is recognized as king and welcomed to the castle.However、 Arthur learns that he cannot be the true king unless he defeats the evil king Lavik. Arthur learns from Merlin that a witch named Morgana is secretly aiding Lavik. He decides to defeat the two and sets off on a quest for a treasure known as the Holy Shield.On the road he meets some young idealistic knights named Lancelot、 Percival、 Tristan、 and Galahad. They fight together and swear an oath to form the Order of Boy Knights.After overcoming many a challenge、 Arthur receives the Holy Shield from a hermit named Narthians. Arthur defeats Lavik and Morgana with his knights、 avenging his parents’ death and regaining Camelot Castle.He then begins rebuilding a new ideal kingdom called Logres from Camelot.King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table was created by Toei Animation and broadcast from 1979 to 1980 on the Fuji TV network. The series adapts the British legend of King Arthur into a fantasy tale of poetic justice.
