| Synopsis | Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku、 Magical Girl Raising Project Koyuki Himekawa is a junior high school girl who adores magical girls and wants to be qualified to become one. In order to be chosen as a magical girl、 she has to keep playing the social game called Magical Girl Raising Project. One day、 she is chosen as a magical girl、 Snow White、 and starts helping out people in need. The game has the power to transform a select number of players into pretty figures and turn them into real magical girls with superhuman physical abilities and special powers.However、 when sixteen magical girls、 chosen from tens of thousands of players、 gather in Nafuka City (which is supposed to take place in Joetsu City、 Niigata Prefecture)、 the magical power that resides in the land becomes insufficient. In order to compensate for this、 a cruel rule is handed down to the players、 which is to say that eight magical girls will be chosen by the administration to stay、 and the other eight will be killed and disappear every week.With that、 the magical girls begin to fight each other with their own beliefs to be one of the eight magical girls who survive. In the midst of all this、 the kind-hearted Snow White、 who has big doubts about this rule、 makes contact with the mascot character of the administration and gets to the bottom of what is hidden in this game.After gaining popularity first in 2012、 Magical Girl Raising Project was developed into a web series、 manga、 and drama CD、 and in 2016、 anime television series、 which was aired on Tokyo MX and BS11 by the anime production company Lerch. It is originally a survival action novel by Asari Endo、 which has been published by Takarajimasha since 2012. |
