Bi Faita Kabuto, B-Fighter KabutoThanks to the B-Fighters, warriors in Insect Armor, which give the user insect abilities, that protected Earth from the threat of the alien invaders Jamahl, peace is restored to humanity.Five years later, however, a new threat arises; an army of the Melzard Tribe has awaken from its 200 million year slumber, transforming extinct species into monsters and threatening the human race.Meanwhile on Earth, the Cosmo Academia, which was formerly the Earth Academia, has been developing a new generation of Insect Armor in its Japan branch.Kengo Tachibana, who has been chosen as the new B-Fighter Kuwagar, and Ran Ayukawa, who has been chosen as the B-Fighter Tentou, engage in a tough fight with some Melzard monsters that attack them. So Kouhei Toba, a high school student filled with a sense of justice, is chosen as the final armor user. He becomes B-Fighter Kabuto and destroys the monsters. Thus a new team of three B-Fighters is born. They confront the villain empress Mother Melzard and her B-Crusher minions. Furthermore, together with the first generation of B-Fighters as well as new B-Fighters from different countries who have the abilities of Insect Medals, the team draws nearer to the Super Insect Legend, a battle between light and darkness that occurred 200 million years ago.B-Fighter Kabuto was created by Toei as the 15th installment of the tokusatsu Metal Hero Series. It aired on the TV Asahi network from March 1996 to February 1997. It is a sequel to Juukou B-Fighter, the previous and 14th installment of the Metal Hero Series.
