Tokkei Winsupekutaa, Special Rescue Police WinspectorSometime in the near future, technological evolution has brought prosperity to people’s lives. However, behind the scenes, this advanced technology is being abused by criminals, threatening people’s lives. The uncontrollable technology claims more and more victims. To address the situation, a plan is developed to form a special team called the Special Rescue Police Team.Special Rescue Police Team Winspector is formed with Shunsuke Masaki, one of the leading figures in the plan, serving as its commander. One man who joins the team is Ryoma Kagawa. A hot-blooded lover of justice, Ryoma always prioritizes saving lives. Ryoma wears a special armor suit called Crush Tector and becomes the red warrior Fire. The Crush Tector multiples Ryoma’s strength by 30 times, although the effect only lasts for five minutes. Together with his teammates, the powerful, heavy-duty, yellow assistant droid Bikel and the green rescue assistant droid Walter, Ryoma confronts vicious criminals and terrorists to save the lives of those who are threatened by violent crime, disaster, and other incidents.Special Rescue Police Winspector was created by Toei as the 9th installment of the tokusatsu Metal Hero Series. It aired on the TV Asahi network from February 1990 to January 1991. It was developed as the first part of the Rescue Police series, a subseries of the Metal Hero Series franchise. The series garnered attention for its casting of Hiroshi Miyauchi as Superintendent Shunsuke Masaki. Miyauchi played the hero in many other Toei tokusatsu series.
