Synopsis

Otenba Uchujin (Tomboyish Alien)Chika, a princess of the royal family from the planet Alpha Twinkle in outer space, was facing a marriage to Duke Gingira arranged by her parents. Unwilling to marry him, she fled to Earth in a UFO. To start her new life, she used the alias Chika Hoshino and began living as a lodger with the Kawaguchi family, an ordinary earthling household. Before long, Duke Gingira arrived on Earth in pursuit of his fiancé. To secure his engagement to her, the Duke decided to exploit the unique trait of women in Alpha Twinkle: if a woman on their planet is kissed by someone of the opposite sex, she is destined to love that person for the rest of her life. Consequently, the Duke constantly looks for any opportunity to force a kiss on Chika. The Duke, who suddenly came before Chika, tried to force a kiss on her, however, he is unexpectedly resisted and defeated by her. Meanwhile, Chika learns that the sons of the Kawaguchi family, Shinpei and Yuta, are being bullied at elementary school. Wanting to help change their situation, she uses her magical powers to gradually improve the environment surrounding them. Following the success of Comet-san (Princess Comet)”, this work focused on creating a TV show starring a teen idol. The original concept and scripts were undertaken by Mamoru Sasaki, who specialized in idol-centric works and works for girls. The opening sequence featured animation produced by Tokyo Movie (now TMS Entertainment). Produced by Kokusai Hoei, this sci-fi comedy drama aired on the Nippon TV network from October to December 1981.
