Even after becoming an adult, she did not return to the head family’s estate, however, reunion with Hideaki following her grandfather’s death brought back the emotions she had locked away since that time.This series aired on the Fuji TV network as a serialized TV drama during the daytime slot from April 3 to July 10, 1995. Classified as a so-called hirudora (daytime soap opera), it achieved the highest viewing rate of 10.4%. The scripts were written by Takehiro Nakajima, who is said to have established the so-called doronuma (a quagmire of love and hate) style in the daytime soap opera genre. The lead actress, Yoko Moriguchi, has appeared in numerous films and television dramas and continues to be a highly visible actress today, often playing mother roles.
