Later, the rival newspaper Teito Shimbun launches a project called the Supreme Menu headed by Yuzan, leading to a series of culinary battles between the two parties. After many battles, Shiro, who has been reassigned to the employee cafeteria, is challenged to another culinary showdown with Yuzan once again, and a battle between the Ultimate and the Supreme restarts. This work is the final media adaptation following the television anime and live-action-drama series.This is a special one-off drama based on the series that aired on the Fuji TV network from January 2007 to November 2009. The original work is a manga series that has been serialized since 1983 in Shogakukan's manga magazine Big Comic Spirits, created by the team of writer Tetsu Kariya and artist Akira Hanasaki.
