After the commercials gained popularity in Italy, the mascot character was adapted into a short animation program. The first anime series aired from October 1974 to September 1975 on the NET network (now TV Asahi), produced by K&S and Toei Animation. Notably, the composition of this series was handled by Taichi Yamada, a great master in the scriptwriting world. The second series aired on the TV Tokyo network from October 1992 to December 1993. In 2013, the new CG-animated version was produced for the first time in Italy.
