Synopsis

Kuinzu Bureido Ruro no Senshi, Queen’s Blade: The Exiled VirginQueen’s Blade is a tournament to determine the most powerful and beautiful queen in the name of god. According to the tradition since the country’s founding, the glorious winner of this tournament is elected queen of the country.It is in this setting that Leina, daughter of a count, gets fed up with the aristocratic life, relinquishes her status, and sets off on a journey in search of freedom, traveling across the wastelands. On the road, Leina comes across a strange-looking woman named Melona and is faced by a crisis. She is saved by a proud and chivalrous outlaw called Risty and essentially forced to return home.Since Leina does not get along very well with her elder sister Claudette, also known as “General Thundercloud,” she is not keen about living with her. But the situation takes a dramatic turn once Melona appears again to raid the town where Leina lives. As the town goes up in flames, Leina puts on the warrior’s armor that has been passed down in her family for generations, confronts Melona for the second time, and vanquishes her.After that, Leina decides to participate in Queen’s Blade, a tournament held to determine the country’s queen, setting off on a quest once again to find the meaning of her existence.In her quest, Leina confronts many beautiful warriors seeking the throne and fighting for their country, honor, and pride.Queen’s Blade: The Exiled Virgin is a television anime series created by ARMS, first airing on AT-X, TOKYO MX, and other networks in 2009.It is based on a visual combat book series featuring pretty girls that was first released by Hobby Japan in 2005.
