Synopsis

Sukuru Garu Sutoraikazu, Schoolgirl StrikersGoryoukan Academy is a private school for girls that has extensive grounds in central Tokyo. The academy has a hidden side; it trains girls known as “Strikers” who have the power to protect the world from Oburi, apparitions that appear from the fifth dimension.Tsubame Miyama serves as leader of Altair Tolte, one of the combat teams in the Fifth Force comprised by Strikers. She is honest and has a strong sense of responsibility. But she actually is from one of the countless other worlds that exist, which was annihilated by hostile forces.Together with her four teammates, Satoka Sumihara, a well-informed girl with a distinctive aura, Io Yoginuma, a popular girl versed in both letters and arms, Yumi Sajima, the team clown with a strong sense of justice, and Mana Namori, who is a bit childish and innocent, Tsubame defeats many apparitions. Her bond with the others becomes gradually stronger, but then Morgana, the one who destroyed her world, appears before her.Tsubame is almost overwhelmed by Morgana’s strong powers, but she manages to defeat the enemy together with her teammates.Schoolgirl Strikers is an anime series based on a social game for smartphones that was released by Square Enix in 2014.Although the story follows that of the game, the protagonist and some other characters in the game do not appear in the anime series.
